standing on top of a bare mountain. the very top with nothing above, nothing but the blanketing clouds with the ominous dark shades that threaten nought. the water that falls down in sheets washes away anything that needlessly stands in the way. futile attempts to cling on to invaluable people are suddenly stark and loud. and reality sinks in as the rush from a lightning bolt fills the empty void. the only other living is the green at lower levels. dying plants with roots exposed-unable to hold on to what they know might have kept them alive. letting go without a choice. letting go but still surviving. still green and still stadning upright against the rain.
the rain keeps pouring and it outstays its welcome. it always was. i lift my eyes and open them. spread my arms out wide and the wind blows in every which direction. the drops pelt down faster and harder and fail to move me. it fails to move. that which once sent coursing down with the white washed streams flowing from the peak has been exhausted. nothing moveth now. all is in perfect still. absolute calm, with the wind howling and my hair dripping.
despite everything- i stand humble and victorious. And Know that You are GOD.

okokok!!!! yes i agree its getting boring here. fact is-i only go to my blog cuz i got links to my friends' blogs here! haha..
as i take a moment to ponder what to write (edit: mentally scans other blogs in search of what to write) i rmb that everyone writes about what they've done, what went wrong, what went right, what they just bought, what they just ate ect ect ect..i'll try my best yeeah.
its march already! can you believethat! seems like yst i was playinf PS2 at chyilyn's house counting down to a newyear and getting a wee bit tipsy. and then visiting people for chinese new year and enjoying long breaks. and then valentine's day. and then raj left.
yes, on that note-my cousins are disappearing. i've not seen asha,tini and anand samuel (yes,i;ve a younger cousin called anand) who are based in texas in the longest time; 3 years i think. i havent seen raveen whos staying with them for more than a year. i haven't seen my cousins jared,candace and justin in years too and they live in colorado. and there are the canadians dhiraj, varsha, anjali and sonia who have all definitely grown 5 centimetres since i last saw them. i am thankfull for the ones that are still in singapore. i love them with all my heart. and i miss the ones that are away. (it was a wonderful surprise that my cousin vicnesh came by with his wife and son-MY NEPHEW- last week from down under. we have to learn to count our blessings and that indeed, was a blessing.
back to the subject! its march!!! a sixth of the year has passed. and even as i type this i realise that its gonna be the weekend in 2 days time, and while it is a good thing, it also means that the 22nd of april is coming soon. for those of you who know, i am very thankful to God for the oppurtunity that has presented itself. yet again i am in awe of Him. and so very gratefull.
and hence that leads to me being vey busy. thats where the word BUSIness comes from. isnt it? and yes- i am also very grateful to isabel for being very patient and understanding and tolerating. once again im reminded why its so perfect and why we are together.
amid all the hustle and bustle and 2 months plying by and work going by in a blur and mas selamat escaping, i think its important to find that quiet in your heart. be it the job you have, or the projects you're involved in, or the commitments you have to keep to, i think when you reach deep down, you'll realise that money and status and clothes and cars and things and things and things dont matter anymore. but deep down you'll find people. people who've found their way there. the place where once you reach you stay forever. and thats what is important-the people you love.
if i were to make a list of the people that i really miss right now, it would be long i supppose and it would be puposeless-for now at least-. but the crux lies in the fact that the list exists.
AH! okay..that ends a..(tries to find a word for it)..?weird post. if i lost you and didnt make any sense and you are more frustrated that you wasted time reading this than always coming here to find nothing added,i am sincerely sorry. but hey! you asked for it..
