what he said got me thinking and i came up with this quote of my own:



WITH THE RIGHT MOTIVATION ANY MAN WILL DO ANYTHING



do the africans not run 50 kilometers every day to get water?

did not the mother lift a car to save her child?

did not the actor give part of his liver to save his wife's live?

did not the firefighters rush into a building about to collapse?

did not untold numbers of soldiers die meaninglessly in IRAQ?

did not the USA govt hold back information from us?

did not the people go silently into the night?

were not voices in s'pore that screamed out silenced?

were not the punks ridiculed?

was not skateboarding made a punishable offense?

were not lyrics censored?



someone out there had the motivation to enact each and every one of the above statements. the statements vary in importance. i will not equate a soldier's life with skateboarding for such is sin.



now ALL of the above statements have a few things in common. damn, i could come up with alot more...statements, that is. but see in every one of those statements, someone is being victimised. if i'm not wrong each of the lines show a group of people becoming victims. what am i tryin to say, each of the above statements represent a group of oppressors. oppressors wwho thought that what they were doing is right. their motivation varied, doing what the country said was right, doing what they believed to be for the "better good".



dammit it seems to me like they're robots in a kdrnun machine.and the one running it makes decisions based on his best interest or better, (or worse) the decisions are made to entertain him or fuel his whims and fancies.



ruidiard gulliani governor of the city of new york that once stood for hope and a new chance(i really dont give a shyt how it was spelt) became person of the year or something like that. who'll forget? who'll forget sitting in front of the television set with your mouth hanging open and just staring in disbelief as the buldings came crashing down? who'll foirget asking if thats some cheap advertisement for a movie?



it was an advertisement. it was an advertisement for the hate that thrives till today. it was an advertisement for the human spirit that will never be quenched.and it was an advertisement for all that we took for granted.



and the american govt woke up.

on the wrong side of the bed.

an unending journey to begin waging war on others.

knights in shining armour were more valient.



rudiard guliani caused the deaths of many firefighters that day because he disallowed more expensive but better equipment to be purchased. the lack of better equipment made it easier to lose more lives that day.



now what motivated him?



clinton or obama?

build the tallest building or funding better equipment?

what motivates THEM.





to all the people who's lives ended in september 11, 2001; may you rest in peace.

to the soldiers whose dog tags were placed in their mouths, i salute you.

to the firefighers, respect for people who save lives is definitely more than those who had a hand in ending others.respect.

a day late.
damn its been a long time huh?
decorating the chalet, setting up the stuff, starting the fire, deciding on the music.
and me being sick half the day. hahaha...it was a good time.

sometimes if not all the time.


the people you chose to be around you, kinda lets you know who you really are.
you'll never completely object to someone's lifestyle and still hang around them.right?
that leads to you accepting their lifestyle and more than likely there's gonna be a fraction of that person's lifestyle in yours as well.

now everyone most probably is affiliated to multiple cliques.and each of these cliques have a high chance of being defined by the fact that they advocate similar lifestyles.
and what does that say about you.

your lifestyle's components probably vary. i would guess 4 major components and 3 minor ones would pretty much define a person's lifestyle.so essentially your lifestyle would be the intersection of all the different sets. that is, each cliques's major components make up a set.

i've most probably lost all of you who're reading this now and well this is more of me thinking aloud. one last random point, a subset.
a set within a set, and a clique within a clique. what defines it?
differentiation.outcasting.backstabbing.lies.putting up a front.cheating.pretending.
